Random acts of kindness

What is a random act of kindness?

A random act of kindness is a selfless act, commonly for a stranger, although it can also be for friends or family, for no reason other than to make someone happier. There are countless ways to carry out a random act of kindness. Down below I gathered just a few of my favorite actions.

How does it affect our mental health?

Research shows, that carrying out random acts of kindness towards others positively affects our own mental health. It can reduce stress, improves our emotional wellbeing, and brings a sense of belonging.

Love this post Ilka! Those are some great acts of kindness… some I haven’t ever thought about such as the “forget” your change at a vending machine one! I’ll definitely be adding a few of these to my list to complete in the future ✨
