On my reading list atm

Reading list picks…

I gathered a few books from my shelf to read over the net few weeks. All these have been sitting around in my living room for a while now and I promised myself to read them before I buy any more books. Which seems like a rather simple thing to do, reading five books before buying new ones. But you have to know, I really love buying and owning books. So this will be part of my May goals, finishing this book pile from my reading list. And I hope, with postin my list online, I’ll find some extra motivation to stick to my plan! *fingers crossed*

Some more things that motivate me to read more / finish this pile are:

1: All the other books from my Amazon Booklist that I can order as soon as I finished the last one!

2: Getting into a friendly reading competition with a friend. For example, read 1 chapter each day and motivate each other to do it.

3: The good feeling reading gives me!

The books on my reading pile:

  1. The Rosie Project

  2. How to ruin everything

  3. The beautiful & damned

  4. The Essex Serpent

  5. My cat  Yugoslavia

For more information on each book and how I like them, make sure you check out my Goodreads account. Also, I would love to connect with you and chat about favourite books. What are you reading at the moment?

Tsundoku

The act of acquiring books that then pile up, often unread, in one’s home.
