It would not be a big surprise when I tell you my favorite things about Autumn and what I love to do in Autumn are chilled, granny- like things, wouldn’t it? So for today’s post, I share with you, my Autumnal hobbies. These are things I love to do and for which I’m excited most when it comes to Fall.

Because of the autumnal weather in Germany is mostly gray, rainy and cold, I love to spend a lot of time at home (yes, even more, time!). The following activities are my most favorite ones, which always cheer me up when the weather isn’t or when I just need to calm down.

Autumnal Hobbies on
Everything pumpkin spiced

First of all, I wanna say I love pumpkins! And as they are seasoned in Fall,
they are the number one on my list.  They are a veggie and yummy and why wouldn’t I like pumpkin spiced everything (candles, Latte, cookies…) Plus, pumpkins are full of Vitamins.

+ There will be a pumpkin-related recipe post in my newsletter on Sunday!

American Horror Story

It’s no secret that I love series. And AHS is my favorite Fall series. It’s a little spooky, sets the mood for Halloween and Evan Peters is kinda cute.  Therefore I can never wait for October and AHS to start.

Comfy Cloth

Maybe the coolest thing about Fall. You are perfectly dressed when you go for an oversized sweater, messy bun, leggings, and boots. YAY.
My favorite sweater is an old one from my dad. It’s an heirloom and reminds me of the fun we had in Autumn when I was little. Apple picking, pumpkin patches, playing in the autumn leaves and building a cave for the hedgehogs in our garden.

This week’s newsletter includes one of my favorite Autumnal recipes. Vegan pumpkin spiced Chai Latte. Make sure you subscribe to the IEB news club (newsletter) so you won’t miss it. Subscribe here

Hi! I love all things autumnal also. From warm jumpers, scarves, boots, tights and gloves I like to wrap up warm. My birthday is on Halloween so I like to get into the spirit of the season and here in Northern Ireland Halloween is a big celebration for kids (I have 4 kids so I get to dress up and enjoy it all.) xx

Oh, that sounds wonderful. Birthday on Halloween must be so so much fun. I hope you have a lovely, spooky day with your loved ones.
(Your kids seem so sweet. Aww!)
I absolutely adore huge sweaters and comfy boots and all stuff cozy and warm. I’m so sad Halloween isn’t a thing in Germany. When I lived in UK I loved it soooo much!

Also, I’m glad you liked the post. Stop by soon. Much love, Ilka x

Hi Chloe, I’m glad you liked the post. I can’t imagine how it is not having Autumn or Winter !? At least it isn”t freezing. Haha
I think you can try some of my favorite fall things. For example AHS (it isn’t that scarry, as you don’t enjoy horror movies) And pumpkin spiced iced latte is good aswell.
Have a nice weekend. Much love Ilka x
