I’m bananas for you…
Hi friends, this is a slights different post. First time baking on the blog (since I lost all my old posts). Also, my old recipes were all vegan. But a lot has changed. I’m now eating a mostly plant-based diet, with some animal products mixed in, some times. And that’s ok! But that’s not was this post is about. Haha. Maybe I’ll do an in-depth post about my diet/healthy routine some time, possibly as an Instagram series, idk. But now, it’s time for an easy and delicious banana bread recipe.
Products you need:
– 3 ripped bananas
– 80ml oil
– 100g brown sugar
– 2 eggs
– 200g flour
– 3 teaspoons baking powder
– pinch of salt
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– pinch of cinnamon
– a handful of walnuts (optional)
– a handful of pecans (optional)
– chocolate chips (optional)
– butter for the pan
Instructions:
1: First, preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius. Mash the bananas. And chop the nuts.
2: Then stir all the dry ingredients in one bowl together. Set by side.
3: In another (slightly larger) bowl, combine all the wet ingredients.
4: Give the dry ingredients into the wet butter and mix. Lastly, mix the chopped nuts and chocolate chips under the butter.
5: And in the oven, it goes. For 50 minutes. Voila!
Enjoy your super easy and yummy banana bread. One tip I still wanted to share, in case you don’t eat the whole bread in a day or two. Haha. You can freeze the bread. This way you can enjoy it longer. Also, when you freeze the bread in individual slices, it’s much easier to portion and it de-freezes quicker 😉
