I believe, one of the most important things in life is self-care. The way you treat yourself is the way you treat others.
You need to pamper yourself from time to time. For me Sunday is (at home) spa day. I have a relaxing bath, listen to music, wash my hair and do my nails. It’s the time I switch my phone off / on aeroplane modus and enjoy some peaceful me-time. After that, I always feel calm and ready for the new week. Sonn I’ll share with you, my Sunday- Spa- Routine. I try to hit the gym every morning. It turned into a habit and when I skip a day I feel like something is missing. Even though I ‚hate‘ being at the gym and working out but I love the feeling afterwards. I feel fit and full of power. My favourite things to do at the gym are Yoga (for sure), running and some weights (and by that, I mean tiny mini weights. haha. I have the strength of a baby rabbit. But I’m working on it).
The day I decided to follow a vegan diet was the day I decided to take better care of myself.
I don’t quit animal products because of the animals (even though it’s a good reason, maybe the best and most popular), I quit animal products mainly because I wanted to be aware of
what I eat and what I need to live a healthy life. I knew it was possible to live out of plants just because I used to follow such a diet when I was young (read more about my journey here )
